Yay! Snow!

I woke up this morning to another fresh blanket of snow! I actually snuck into the bedroom to sleep last night, or else I would have noticed during one of my outside pee-breaks. It really dumped this time - if I could count (or measure) it would be something like 10 cms, but I do know it was enough to get me romping around the backyard all by myself.

Anyhow, it turns out that when it snows this much, it makes Richie stay at home - something to do with the silly 255/40 ZR17 tires on his car. Anyhow, Idaho came over for a play in the morning, then we all went for a walk (pull) to Starbucks. I played more with Idie while Richie went upstairs to work. Then after my mid-day nap, we went out into the sunshine, grabbed Jamie and Idaho, and went for a walk (pull) to Queen E park. We ran and ran - in some places, the snow was up to my elbows! I love it when it snows!

Yummm.... yogurt!

Here is one of my favourite things... licking the last bit of yogurt out of the plastic container, then chewing on it! Actually, I only get to chew on the container for a few minutes, as I tend to tear little bits off, and sometimes they end up going into my tummy. Richie says he knows how, but I can't figure it out. Anyhow, it is great fun - you should try it sometime!

Pullin' a load

Ok, so I think I might have said that I would never do this, but here I am, pulling a cart! Ok, so it didn't have much in it, and the truth be known, I hardly even notice it when I'm walking. See, our neighbours across the alley had a Berner, and they used to cart her - she would pull the kids around in it. So when Christine told her that she wanted to cart with me, she lent us their cart.

This isn't actually my first day pulling the cart - I did it once before, a few days after Christmas, but it was only a couple of blocks, just to see if I would be ok doing it. So today, it was nice and sunny (but cold - just the way I like it) and we went to the post office to pick up a delivery. I think I am a natural at this!

What I did over my Christmas holidays

We had a fun Christmas holidays - it was great having Christine and Richie around all the time, instead of taking off all day like they do most of the time. One day, Lupin came over for a sleep-over, but she is still kinda skittish around me. I don't know why, as I like to play with all dogs.

The next day after Lupin went home, there was all sorts of fun things to do - we opened presents (I shredded paper off of my own!) and saw what Santa left for us in our stockings overnight.

After all the excitement of Christmas was over, I still had more fun, as my best pal, Idaho, came over for a few days to stay with us. We played, ran, wrestled and farted - phew!

Here we are playing with my new Christmas toys - we look sad because Richie is making us pose while he takes our picture. We're not really sad though, we just look that way.

Happy New Year everyone!
